District Day of Fellowship - Sabbath 11th February 2017

There will be a special District Day of Fellowship on Sabbath 11th February.  The speaker will be Dr Balvin Braham, Pastor for Leadership and  Evangelism, Inter-American Division. It will be held at Glenfrome Primary School, Cottisford Road, Eastville, Bristol, BS5 6TY.  Everyone is invited.  It promises to be very special.  Admission is free, with free parking.

Jesus - The Full Story - Friday 16th December

An extra special audio-visual presentation was held on Friday 16th December at 7.30 pm, at Bristol Central Church.  It told the complete story of Jesus and the plan of salvation, from Creation to the Second Coming, through the medium of words, music images, interspersed with soloists and hymns.

After the programme, light refreshments were made available. Approximately 100 people attended, with several visitors.  It made a real impression on those who attended.

Christ's Method Alone - Helping our Community
and Neighbours

The church is working to support the community and its neighbours, including supporting the Supported Independence event next door to the church.  The church loves to help people and organisations who are helping the community.

Community Health Events Make an Impact in Bristol

The Bristol Health Team are continuing to provide support and a witness to the community, through health focussed activities, including partnerships with Doctor's Surgeries, and supporting local community events.

Eight People Baptised in Bristol

On Sabbath 9th July, there was great joy in Bristol, as eight people were baptised at a packed Baptismal Service at Bristol Central church.  The church resounded with hymns of praise, as the congregation celebrated the decision of 8 mostly young people to be baptised into Christ and the Adventist church.

Race for Life Outreach Event - 3rd July

A very successful event was held at the Race for Life on The Downs, Bristol, on Sunday 3rd July.  There were many visitors who sampled the vegetarian food, juices, smoothies, and received health advice and literature.  They were supported by our Pathfinders, who were invited to demonstrate their drumming on the stage.  See the sample pictures below, and the main Photo Album for more photos of the day.

Better Bites Vegetarian & Vegan Cookery Classes

These free classes take place once a month at Glenfrome Primary School (see the poster below for dates and times).  Come along and learn how to cook healthily, see demonstrations and have tasters.

Exercise Classes

These fun and friendly and free classes are run every Sunday from 10.30 am - 11.30 am at Glenfrome Primary School.  Come and have a go, and get fit.  See poster below for more details.
